Wife's Perspective On Christian Marriage

If our own role as a wife within Christian Marriage is not submission, then precisely what is each of our role? Listed below are three functions we were created to perform.
The Lord God said, " It is not good for the man to be alone, I will create a helper suitable for him." Genesis 2:18

1. Helper (Genesis 2:18)- God's designs regarding marriage was supposed to help to make both of our lives simpler (Ecclesiastes 4:9), by splitting up the work load. God, the father meant for the lady to care for the affairs in the house (Proverbs 31:27). In Genesis, God described just how hard the husband would have to function outside the home (Genesis 3:17-19) and we're also required to perform equally as hard in the home (Proverbs 31:10-31).

2. Reproduce (Genesis 1:28)- The first command from God for the wife and husband, were to have kids. To be able to have children is a true blessing from God (Psalms 127:3) A few of us have forgotten that Our god commands all of us to have children, it was by no means intended to be a choice. Somewhere we've lost view of the key reason why we're here. Please don't misunderstand me, I am not saying that woman can't or ought not work. I 'm merely saying that each of our choice not to have children because we would like to work was never the Lord's Will for all of us (followers of Christ). The ability to have children is the Lord's gift to all of us His people(James 1:17). When we decide that we do not really want any more kids we're basically saying, Lord I do not want anymore gifts from you.

3. Reflect the Lord on Earth (Ephesians 1:12)- Our Christian marriage is a visual of God's relationship with us ( Ephesians 5: 22-33). When we comprehend our purpose as wives and attempt to carry it out, we illustrate just how effective our heavenly father's plan is. The world has their own approach, and as we can view it isn't working. The only strategy that will eventually work, is God's. He would like to save as many folks as possible. Nevertheless, he's given us all a free will to accept or reject him, so he's depending on us to show the world how wonderful following him can be.

Challenge: Ask your husband, how you can make his daily life less difficult. Tell him you know now that the two of you can only achieve your best potential when you work together as a team. Write down a few ambitions for the remainder of the year, and decide the best way that the two you are able to achieve them.
